Bernice is the enthusiastic creator and founder of the Happy New Beginnings Team. She relocated from Boston, and before that Toronto, and has lived in Richmond for over a decade. She moved to Richmond partially for the awesome Real Estate, the weather, the beauty, and absolutely loves “the river city.” For this reason, she finds herself often helping people who are also relocating, as she understands what they are going through. Although she lives in the West End, she has helped move people all over and still marvels at the array of different neighborhoods in RVA.
Lately, she has helped numerous estate sale transactions and loves to help in and oversee the transformation of a house as it “gets ready for market.” Her special skills involve marketing, social media, and negotiation.

Catherine E. Curran

Catherine was born and raised in Delaware and moved to Richmond to attend the University of Richmond. She graduated as a double major with Honors in both English and Psychology and a concentration in French. She worked in advertising for 10+ years most notably at The Martin Agency and Virginia Commonwealth University’s Brandcenter.
Catherine and her family have lived in almost every area of Richmond – the Fan, Church Hill, Southside, Bellevue, the West End and Short Pump so she has a terrific working knowledge of homes in the Richmond area. In her spare time, Catherine loves to travel (especially if there is a beach involved), read, garden and catch up with friends. Catherine is excited to bring these diverse experiences to the table in her real estate career. She is detail oriented, focused and works hard to get a “win-win” outcome for all of her clients. Vicki Huber

Vicki was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, and has lived there all of her life except for about twelve years in Virginia Beach, VA. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Marketing and has been using it ever since.
After spending most of her life in Wholesale Sales and Management in corporate America with well-known gift and accessory brands, she decided to take a journey into her real passion…HOMES! She feels most satisfied when she prepares a home for sale through staging and marketing and provides a successful transaction to the seller and buyer. With this purchase being one of the most significant in her clients’ lives, she understands the importance of communication, transparency, and honesty. One of her biggest thrills is handing the keys to her buyer at closing!

James Gresham

James was born and raised in Roswell, Georgia, and after completion of high school, he joined
the Army as an AH-64A Apache Helicopter crew chief. His army service took him all over the United States and to Germany and Bosnia Herzegovina in support of NATO. Upon completion of his service, he continued his career as a helicopter mechanic and did this for 30 years. In 2020, he found his passion for real estate while assisting with a complex family estate situation. He discovered that he enjoyed and was good at navigating the details of the transaction. His attention to detail was a huge asset and fired up his interest in real estate.
In 2004, he moved to Richmond for work and met his wife.
He received his associate’s degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University.
In his spare time, he enjoys camping in his RV, archery, shooting at the range, using his
smoker, and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Lucy.
Having lived in Church Hill. he has the unique experience with the opportunity of restoring
historic homes in historic districts. He also understands the distinct challenges of buying and selling of real estate in historic districts.

Teri Medley
REALTOR®
Teri has lived in the Richmond area for over 20 years. She originally moved from the Northeast, having lived in Boston and New York, where Teri was a professional opera singer.
Her career has taken her abroad to Europe, as well as the United States, where she performed at a number of opera houses and concert venues; including Dallas Opera, New York City Opera, New York City Ballet, and a solo recital at Carnegie Hall.
She moved to Richmond to be close to family, to escape the harsh winters, and to start a horse farm; as well as to become a real estate agent. Two of her all-time passions; real estate and horses!
Though Teri is a residential real estate agent, she specializes in Equine properties, farms, and land. She lives in Western Goochland County and has access to a large territory, which includes Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, as well as Richmond.
Teri is also involved in animal rescue and has a small menagerie on her horse farm. Emphasis on small!
For fun, Teri loves the outdoors…

Lori has an affinity for listening to the needs of her clients and friends. She works tirelessly towards the goal of helping residents as they buy/sell & build their wealth through homeownership. She is passionate about all things houses & home ownership accessibility.
Lori grew up in Albemarle and Nelson Counties, living first in a home that her parents built, and then in an old farmhouse they renovated. She has also renovated her own home and has knowledge of older structures and the nuances of analyzing a home’s condition. She pairs her love and knowledge of houses with her background in fine arts which lends itself to interior design principles.
Lori attended VCU and has spent most of her adult life living in the Fan, Churchill, and Lakeside areas of Richmond VA.
